About us

"The WoodCelt" is the name used by me, Jim Connor, woodturning and wood/mixed-media artisan. With 40 years of engineering and manufacturing behind me, starting aged 16 standing in front of a lathe, I decided to follow my passion of mixing engineering with art & creativity.

The pieces I produce range from pens, bowls, and  boxes  to infusers, clocks, and bespoke ornamental works.

Sustainability and the environment are both very high priority in choosing material.

Much of the wood used, has a story to tell or at the very least has had a previous life.

Everything gets turned into something new.
